EMBARK ON A CULINARY VOYAGE THAT CELEBRATES MEXICO, ART AND GASTRONOMY! 

To complement Bendigo's City of Gastronomy and the Frida Kahlo: In her own Image exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery, Ms Batterhams presents a Mexican Fiesta with Movida's "Tres a Cinco" at MacKenzie Quarters. 

Indulge in a meticulously crafted Mexican-inspired meal, featuring delights like the vibrant Kingfish Aguachile Ceviche, savoury Tacos de Birria de Res, and the sweet finale of Tres Leches. Each exquisite course will be expertly paired with Mexican inspired cocktails from the talented team at The Lost Explorer. 

Your ticket includes 4 courses of unforgettable dining, discussion and consumption of matched cocktails and a curator's talk by Curatorial Manager, Lauren Ellis regarding the "Frida Kahlo: In Her Own Image" exhibition.


THERE IS 2 DINING EXPERIENCES AVAILABLE!

Guests can purchase a ticket to sit in MacKenzie Hall Dining Room or Ms Batterhams Restaurant, each space will have set seating numbers that can not be adjusted. 

The curators talk, from the Bendigo Art Gallery, will only be included in the MacKenzie Hall dining experience.

King fish aguachile ceviche & Tostadas de atun served with a Paloma

Chorizo/corn croqueta & Empanada chicken chocolate mole served with a Miel highball

Chicken pastor skewer & Tacos de birria de res served with a Miami Margarita

Tres leches served with a Toasted Coconut Margarita


Monday 5th May 2025 for a 6.30pm start.
